Amount of ANSYS licenses significantly raised

The ANSYS suite is a general purpose finite element package for numerically solving of linear and non-linear problems in static/dynamic structural analysis, heat transfer and fluid problems, as well as acoustic and electromagnetic problems. 

The SCC could significantly raise the amount of available licenses due to an alteration of the contract. There are now 150 basic licenses available (150 people could use an ANSYS product at the same time). In addition with the now available 640 parallel licenses you could run big parallel jobs on our hpc systems. This will be of great value especially in the field of CFD simulation.
