Backup

The SCC offers regular automatic backup of data from Windows, Macintosh as well as Linux computers.

Backup for file server, desktop and mobile devices

You want to back up standalone file servers (NAS), a desktop computers with over 1 TB of data or your mobile computer?
For this we recommend the ISP/TSM Client. Further information can be found here.

Included services

• License for the required software.
• Individual advice on the backup service (commissioning and general questions).
• Users are informed about the status of the service by e-mail in certain situations.

Not included services

These rules have applied to TSM since 1 May 2006.

• No hard disk images of the devices.

• Devices that have not been backed up for 180 days will be completely deleted, including all backup data. One week before the deletion, an e-mail will be sent with a warning that the data will be deleted. If this device is the last of the user, the user will also be removed from the backup system.

• If a user has not performed a backup 30 days after registration, this user will be removed from the backup system.
