Instructions for:

General Hints

  • If you want to install Pulse Secure without administrator rights, you have to install the PulseSecureInstallerService to be able to install the software updates for the client: PulseSecureInstallerService.
  • Per default autostart is activated for Pulse Secure, i.e. after booting the PC Pulse Secure starts automatically. To deactivate this, go to “Start” and enter “msconfig” in the search box. In the opening window click on the tab “Startup” and uncheck “Pulse Secure”, then click “Ok”.
  • Caution: If you clone a Windows with installed Pulse Secure client, both client installations will have the same JunosPulse DeviceID. This causes problems with the connection. The execution of following batch file solves this problem (tested with Windows 7): pulse-dev-id.bat
  • Windows Vista is no longer supported  by Juniper. Please use OpenVPN instead.
