Information about the RADAR4ING service, a data repository for the NFDI4ING community

RADAR4ING is a specialized repository for the NFDI4ING Community. It allows you to compile research data from completed scientific studies and projects into data packages, describe them with metadata, and make them publicly available. Published data receive a persistent identifier (DOI) and are thus discoverable internationally.

The service is operated by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). RADAR4ING is based on the RADAR service provided by FIZ Karlsruhe. Data is stored exclusively on KIT’s IT infrastructure at the Scientific Computing Center ( SCC ).

Access to the service is possible via the NFDI4ING Community-AAI.

To use the service, you will be assigned a role inside RADAR4ING, following the Roles and Rights of RADAR, which will enable you to upload data and metadata.

RADAR4ING enables the permanent and unaltered storage of data packages for at least 10 years.
