This training course covers the entire process of finite element analysis with COMSOL Multiphysics^® software, from the initial problem definition to geometry creation and model setup to the evaluation and documentation of results. You will learn basic modeling techniques, including the use of predefined physical interfaces, basic meshing strategies, and effective methods for visualizing and interpreting simulation results. In the afternoon of day two, we will give you a brief introduction to the Chemical Reaction Engineering Module.

A practical case study guides you through all the steps so that you can follow the typical workflow with the software step by step. In addition, you will learn how to simplify models in a way that optimizes computation times without losing accuracy.

This course has been designed for beginners in simulation with COMSOL Multiphysics^® and offers a mix of knowledge transfer and guided practical exercises to help you apply and consolidate your newly acquired knowledge. No prior knowledge is required. The level of knowledge acquired after participating in this course is required for “Advanced Modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics^®” and all courses that go into greater depth on specific topics.
