The HoreKa supercomputer operated at the Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCC) is now available to all scientists from all over Germany for research projects.

Especially in materials sciences, earth system sciences, energy and mobility research in engineering, and particle and astroparticle physics, researchers can gain a more detailed understanding of highly complex natural and technical processes thanks to the new supercomputer.

The current flagship of NHR@KIT (image movie) is HoreKa, a 17 petaFLOPS system with 60,000 CPU cores and nearly 700 GPUs.
