The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) has commissioned the HoreKa 2 supercomputer. The new system helps researchers tackle complex scientific problems—such as those related to climate, new materials, particle physics, energy, mobility, and AI research—more quickly. To this end, it combines powerful high-performance computing with modern AI technologies. The total cost of the facility amounts to 17 million euros.
