For international business trips, the SCC offers a special laptop loan service for employees via Technical Client Support (TCS). The devices are particularly suitable for trips to countries where it cannot be ruled out that authorities or other parties may gain access to data, make copies or even install software

Our service supports you in transporting business documents securely and in compliance with regulations - without any risk to confidential KIT data.

Sustainable use of refurbished returned devices

The loaned devices provided are returned devices from the KIT, which SCC professionally refurbishes in-house and then reintegrates into the device cycle. In this way, we provide functional and secure devices and at the same time contribute to the sustainable use of existing resources.

Maximum data security thanks to specially prepared devices

To ensure that your data remains protected abroad, the rental devices are completely reset and securely preconfigured before they are issued:

  • Complete formatting before each rental
  • Minimal installation with only the most necessary tools
  • No internal KIT data, except for the presentations or work documents you require
  • System hardening with standard security measures for international travel (e.g. restricted user rights, current security updates)
  • No long-term data trail: the device is deleted again after it is returned

This minimizes the risk of confidential information being disclosed or compromised - even in the event of loss, theft or technical checks at borders.

Ideal for countries with an increased security risk

The lending service particularly supports travel to regions where

  • digital devices can be inspected upon entry,
  • the IT infrastructure there is considered insecure, or
