The state service bwSync&Share is an online storage service for employees and students of universities and colleges in Baden-Württemberg. It has been operated at KIT since January 1, 2014 and enables users to synchronize or exchange their data between different computers, mobile devices, and users.

The service generates transcripts from audio or video files and delivers files with spoken text and subtitles.
The transcription takes place on KIT's own hardware and does not leave KIT. A translation can be requested via the EU service eTranslation. Transcribe AI is available to all KIT employees, guests and partners. |

Mit bwJupyter wird ein zentraler JupyterHub für Dozierende und Studierende bereitgestellt. Bei einem JupyterHub handelt es sich um eine Webanwendung, die Nutzern den Zugang zu Rechenumgebungen und Ressourcen gewährleistet, ohne sie mit Installations- und Wartungsaufgaben zu belasten. In addition, ILIAS supports communication and cooperation among teachers and students, offers the creation and execution of online tests, exams, and evaluations, and the implementation of didactic structures for complete courses. The platform is available to all teachers and students at KIT, access is via https://ilias.studium.kit.edu, login is done with the KIT account.

For conducting oral examinations via video conference, KIT hosts the web application Jitsi Meet. Apart from a suitable web browser, no other software needs to be installed. The KIT recommends the use of this service for conducting oral examinations via video conference.

This service provides KIT organizations with a pool infrastructure for computer-aided exercises. For the duration of the protection measures during the corona crisis, the SCC provides remote access to the centrally managed pool computers. Further information can be found in this news article. |

The SCC operates the content management system OpenText Web Site Management (WSM, formerly RedDot) for the Internet presence of KIT institutions. The system makes it easy to create and edit websites without programming knowledge and provides templates in the KIT corporate design.
The system is available free of charge to all organizational units and facilities of KIT. The webmaster team offers introductory training courses at regular intervals and supports you in case of problems during your daily work with the system. |
