Secure access to SCC services with SSH

Accessing central services of SCC, such as GridKa, HPC systems or the web server cluster, requires a secure SSH access. SCC provides information and recommendations for the configuration.

Secure Shell (SSH) is a protocol package for secure access to services over an unsecured network. The most common use cases are remote shell login and file transfers.

KIT-CERT has written a document focusing on access to central services such as GridKa, HPC, the central web server cluster or the GitLab instance of the KIT of SCC. For the most part, the content should be applicable to SSH in general.
