For cutting large-format print media, the SCC provides a professional cutting table with a cutting width of 1,800 mm in the P&P print shop (room -151.1). It can be used by all KIT members free of charge and without registration.

For KIT teaching staff, the central printing service Print & Plot offers secure printing of exams.

The folding machine performs all common single, wrapping, Z and double parallel, altar, drawing and cross folds for flyers in A3 - B7 formats and grammages from 50 - 160 g/m².

Organizational units (OUs) can distribute their self-managed office and floor printers via the print server "scc-print-oe.scc.kit.edu". The setup on the print server is done by Print & Plot, the printers themselves are operated by the OU (client setup, consumables, maintenance, purchase/replacement). Print output is tied to the opening hours of the OU.

Note: "OU printer" does not support advanced printing services such as "Print-2-Me", "Follow-Me-Print" or "Scan To ...xyz". Students and employees of the KIT can print A4 and A3 documents as well as large formats up to 899 mm short edge.

Students (uabcd account) can use the SCC printing services after topping up their printing account. An account statement can be viewed and printed in encrypted form.
KIT employees (account ab1234) have unlimited access to the printing services. Any costs incurred are billed monthly to the respective KIT institution.
