The SCC offers an information event "Network administration at KIT" for interested IT representatives and IT administrators.

 

The course will be identical to last year's except for minor adjustments. However, there will be more detailed information on the topic of network segmentation.

•     Theoretical part - Overview of network services at the SCC
•         Network access (wired, WLAN, VPN)
•         BCDs/VLANs/subnets
•         Network-related services (DNS, DHCP)
•     Practical part - Administrative activities for ITBs in the area of networks
•         NETVS
•             Rights management (OU administrator, groups)
•             Tools (DNSVS, MACauth, DHCP leases, MACfinder, NATVS+, Netdoc)
•             Request forms
